TP Foundation celebrates Annual success meet


Somerset, New Jersey, May 15st 2016: TeluguPeople Foundation, a non profit organization working towards helping financially struggling students complete their higher education has celebrated their 8th annual Student Success Meet on Saturday May 14th, in Somerset, New Jersey.




TeluguPeople Foundation is providing scholarships to financially struggling students in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to complete their higher education such as Engineering, Medicine, Management and other professional courses.



Helping a bright student not only changes the life of the student but their family and a lot of people around them, said Krishna Kotha, founding member of the TeluguPeople Foundation. Many successful people in the World had very humble beginning and with someone's help they were able to complete their higher studies, he reminded. He gave examples of some great Telugu people who completed their studies with someone's financial help.



The students we are helping today can become great leaders, engineers or doctors tomorrow, said Harikishan Eppanapally, philanthropist and Chairman of the Lead India 2020 Foundation. He praised the dedicated work being done by the TeluguPeople Foundation for years. He also remembered how he came up in his life from a humble beginning.



Organizations that are truly helping needy people in the Telugu states without any publicity or wasteful expenditure must be encouraged, said Laxmi Devineni, Regional Vice President of TANA. She her self announced a major donation to the foundation and pledged that she will always come forward to support the foundation.



TeluguPeople Foundation is changing people's lives forever and it's going to be a chain reaction as the beneficiaries are going to help others in the society when they are settled, said Swaathi Sriram, Journalist and Founder of Vidya Center Project that provided books for more than 10,000 students in several districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She requested all the guests to come forward and donate for the good cause.

Ebenzer C Mallepalle, Naresh Tulluru also gave an inspiring message at the event.

The event organized on a Saturday evening at the office of TeluguPeople.com raised more than Rs. 10 lakhs. All of this money will be used to provide scholarships to eligible students.

Program began with cultural programs and performances by kids.

Thevan Thevakumar, Lakshmi Moparthi and Mahipal Reddy from NewYork Life, Kavitha Gangavarapu from Investors Bank, Vandana Jain from Younique sponsored the event.

Bhaskar Bupathi from Desi Chef, Mohan Krishna Mannava from Bawarchi and Hemanth Golla from Crepes Celestes provided free food for the guests and helped the foundation.

Young children Sachitha Guthula, Heera Sai Durga and Amita Reka volunteered at the program. Heera Sai Durga, Sravya Kunisetty, Joseph Villuri, Vincent Villuri, Sri Lasya Kotha and Rithika Vadapalli entertained the guests with their performances. Lead India Chairman Harikishan Eppanapally gave certificates of appreciation to the volunteers and Performers.

ATA representative and well-known Dance teacher Indira Sreeram Dixit, well known anchor and radio host Madhavi Bathula, Movie producer Sukumar, Script writer and Critique Vishnu Vaka attended the program. Foundation's founder and President Prasad Kunisetty, Secretary Nageswara Rao Karra, Treasurer Lava Boggavarapu, Brand Ambassador and well-known Kuchipudi dancer Dr. Neela Zareen, Executive committee members Vamsikrishna Venigalla, Bhaskar Bupathi, Satya Yerraganti and Suresh Ediga participated. Suresh Ediga presented vote of thanks. Dr. Imam Nethrapalli provided photo coverage.
