ISB to conduct two-day training for AP MLAs
Hyderabad, June 13 (INN): A delegation from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB) met Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao to discuss about the capacity building and leadership programme for AP MLAs.
The programme will be a two day highly competitive module which aims to provide a learning platform for MLAs which will enable them to be more effective in their work and rise up to positions of greater influence. The workshop is designed around modules such as Leadership, Economic Development, Policy Making, Social Welfare and Development Issues in Andhra Pradesh. The workshop also will help in imbibing new ways of working and building professional networks with their peers from other states.
ISB has considerable experience in developing programmes that cater to such capacity building needs for elected representatives. Mamtha Reddy, Head ' Government Sector at Centre for Executive Education, ISB and Sundeep Jammalamadaka, Senior Manager, External Relations, ISB (Incharge of Government Relations) met the Speaker.
AP Legislative Assembly Secretary K. Satyanarayana Rao and OSD to Speaker K. Gurumurthy also attended the meeting.
