'Stamps on Yoga' booklet released
Hyderabad, June 21 (INN): In commemoration of 2nd International Yoga Day on Tuesday, the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle (Covered Telangana & AP States) has released a beautifully designed 'Information booklet : Stamps on Yoga' & Maxim cards on 'Surya Namaskar'.
The 'Information booklet: Stamps on Yoga' gives a brief description on the various Yoga postures depicted in the original Stamps. The booklet contains four Commemorative stamps released in 1991 on various yoga postures - Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Ushtrasana and Utthita Trikonasana; One Stamp released on occasion of 1st International Yoga day in 2015 and 12 Commemorative stamps released on 'Surya Namaskar' by Prime Minister of India on 20.06.16.
The cost of the 'Information booklet : Stamps on Yoga' which contains all the above mentioned 17 Stamps in Original are priced at Rs 800/-
Another booklet which contains the 12 Stamps released by Prime Minister of India on 20th June 2016 is priced at Rs 500/-.
A pack of maxim card on 'Surya Namaskar' is brought out on the occasion of International Day of Yoga containing 12 maxim cards each depicting each of the 12 Surya Namaskar asanas. The cost of Maxim Card set is Rs 250/-
The 'Information booklet : Stamps on Yoga' & Maximcard on 'Surya Namaskar' are available in Hyderabad GPO Philately Bureau, Secunderabad HO, Jubilee HO, Kachiguda HO, Secunderabad HO, Trimulgherry HO, Khairatabad HO, Kurnool HO, Tirupati HO, Vijayawada HO & Visakhapatnam HO.
