All set for ATA conference
Grand celebrations of ATA- American Telugu Association, Silver Jubilee year will be held from July 1st- July 3rd at Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. American Telugu Association, ATA, is known for its services to the Telugu population living in USA. Since its inception 25 years ago, ATA has been rendering commendable services in the form of Literature, culture and social means.
"We have been striving to offer the best possible services to Telugu population in America. Through this convention, we want to provide the hospitality and give everyone a platform to interact and socialise in the tri-state areas of Illinois, Wisconsin and Indianapolis", said SudhakarPerkary, President of 2016 Convention.
ATA is planning a grand gala banquet on July 1st evening. The banquet is expected to be honored by the presence of dignitaries from various platforms. "We are expecting more than 50 politicians from different parties serving in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We have movie stars from Tollywood, musicians, singers dancers and literary icons. Along with Indian dignitaries, ATA is also inviting Illinois state Governor, Bruce Rauner, Maryland Delegate, Aruna Miller. We are honoring different dignitaries with achievement awards during our banquet", said Chandra Sekhar Palvai, Convention Convener. Spiritual guru, Paripoornanda Swamy, will be lighting the lamp during the Banquet.
BJP spokesperson, Venkaiah Naidu will be serving as chief guest and speaker at the 25th silver Jubilee celebrations of ATA in Chicago. Along with 50 other politicians, ATA is also hosting various seminars and discussion forums to give a platform to the attendees to interact with the politicians. "We are organizing several discussions on day 2 and day 3 where in we are giving opportunity to every attendee to interact with politicians and other celebrities", said KK Reddy, Convention Director. Council Chairman, SwamyGoud, Dep. CM Kadiyam Srihari, MP Kavitha, MP Jitender Reddy, MP Mithun Reddy long with other MLAs, MLCs and leaders from both the states.
Alongside the political and business seminars, ATA is also hosting a plethora of stars from Tollywood. "Our Cultural programs are highlights of this convention. We have programs throughout the day and will continue till late night on Sunday. We have stars from Tollywood, singers, musicians, Dancers and various folk performers. JagapathiBabu will be honoring us along with Nani, Kajal Agarwal, LavanyaTripathi and Rashi Khanna", said Krishna Mushyam, Co Convener. Goreti Venkanna, Andesri, Afsar, lyricists, Chandra Bose, musician Manisharma and many other stars are honoring the event.
Along with literary, cultural, political forums, ATA is also providing a platform for the youth by offering special events as youth mixer and single meets, health forums, spiritual forums, Matrimony, Cruise on Lake and other programs to highlight upcoming singers and talents. The convention center is getting ready with various themes and arts to attract the attendees. With the convention theme as Samata- Mamata- Yuvatha- Bhavita, ATA is gearing up for the three days catering to the needs and interests of the attendees. Various vendors, businesses and participans have already started coming in. The three day event will see a grand presence of nearly 7000 participants.
