Hyderabad: Stressed out and feeling dejected? And wondering how nice it would be to spend a jolly evening on the lawns on the banks of Hussain Sagar or steal a kiss from a girlfriend sitting on a bench inside Sanjeevaiah Park on the Necklace Road though you don't have one? Here is a solution.
If you have an eye for things, you may notice some teams moving around Prasad's and Necklace Road. These teams offer 'hire a girlfriend' services just as sex racketeers offer the services of sex workers. However, sex is a strict no with these hired girlfriends. But at your own risk!
Police sources said a three member gang ' with two young girls and a male pimp ' who is normally clad in safari outfit was famous for such services.
You must be ready to shell out anything between Rs 250 and Rs 500 to hire a girlfriend for two hours. You can either take her on a joyride or spend time with her on the Necklace Road or Imax theatre. You can kiss, caress and cuddle your hired girlfriend, but not more than that.
The modus operandi is simple: The pimp identifies by your looks that you need the services of a girlfriend and approaches you on finding you alone at any point on the Necklace Road. These teams usually begin their day at around 3pm and close the business for the day at 9 pm, sources said.
But it is better not to hire the services of these teams since there is a risk too. Police sources said these teams had a tie-up with the Lake Police personnel.
If you take your hired girlfriend to an isolated place or a dark corner out of excitement, a couple of policemen would land at the spot within no time and your bad time begins.
The policemen would threaten you with slapping a case of rape or adultery and produce you before the media and later before the court. They would suggest you not to risk your life and career and also suggest you to strike a deal before you are taken to their superior ' all part of the game.
You would be left with no choice but to accept their suggestion. When they find you weak and indecisive, the policemen would rob you of everything ' money and if situation permits other valuables ' which would be shared later between the police and the pimp who had provided you with a girlfriend.
So, be careful and stay away from hired girlfriends.
