They choose perfect timing for showdown Hyderabad, Jan 6 (INN): TDP and TRS head for a showdown in Warangal district while Congress in-charge of state affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad holds discussions in the State capital and YSR Congress also jumps into the padayatra wagon leaving a baffled BJP searching for its lost ground and the left parties showing their indifference to the happenings around.
Suddenly, TDP took up the farmers' cause and wanted to tour Telangana. It selected the hotbed of separatist movement and chalked out a tour of Karimnagar, which was fairly successful, given the magnitude of TRS threats.
Warangal is the next venue and Naidu going ahead with his Porubata, ignoring police advice is not a bravado but a tactical move as it would be to the advantage of TDP any which way. If there are obstructions, TRS will be blamed, if it goes on TDP claims success.
This is only one scene of the many acts of the play that is unfolding in the state. TRS charge that the padayatra of Naidu and YS Jagan Reddy were sponsored by the State Government may not have many takers.
The precautionary measures police are taking during Naidu's tour may pass off as a routine procedure but there is something more than what meets the eye.
TRS and the TJAC which have organised Sakala Janula Samme suddenly became helpless and Naidu's juggernaut keeps rolling in the heartland of Telangana. YSRC after announcing that it will keep off the battle for ballot in Telangana decides to tour the region.
While all this is happening Congress leaders choose to complain to Azad about the style of functioning of chief minister K Kiran Kumar Reddy and other issues while the Telangana Congress leaders remain a confused flock.
Chiranjeevi gets the deserving place in the meeting and shares the dais with PCC chief and Chief Minister. The cabinet berths becomes an issue, at least it was projected that way.
While TDP and YSRC are busy in cutting into TRS base in Telangana region, Chiranjeevi factor checks the two factors in coastal Andhra and the Rayalaseema issue need to be addressed later.
After the Telangana scene, the new that would unfold will be that of the Rayalaseema and after that parties will be busy for the next general election.
