Nellore: Some personalities in the public life such as politicians, filmwallahs and businessmen have superstitions and they have immense faith in them.

Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy, the man who won the Kovur Assembly by-poll on YSRCP ticket with an impressive margin, is no exception.
Room No 101 in Hotel Simhapuri in Nellore town is very special to Prasanna Kumar Reddy. For all the elections that he fought he would check into the room even before filing the nomination papers and would not leave the room till the election result was out.
During every election, he would check into the room and stay for some time before leaving the hotel to file the nomination papers.
Going by the facts, Prasanna Kumar sentiment towards Room No 101 in Hotel Simhapuri has some validity.
Since 1983 by poll, where he contested following his father (sitting MLA Srinivasul Reddy's) demise, Prasanna Kumar Reddy maintained this room No 101 sentiment. But in 2004 elections, for some strange reasons he could not get the room and he lost the election.
For this bypoll too, Prasanna Kumar booked Room No 101 in Hotel Simhapuri and the result proved his sentiment to be right.
