Mirror of Govt. failure; Sharmila consoles boy
True its nature, the Praja Prasthanam has been charting the intended course of mass contact programme. Eleven year old Siva had poured his cup of woes to Sharmila who is on the second-day of her 3,000-km padayatra in YSR Kadapa district.
Amidst tears, he said that he had to go work to earn money as his parents are sick and are not getting old age pension. There is no power in our house and I want to go to school, he said at Dugganagari palli.
'This is the age for the tender boy to go to school while he is forced to work. He is willing to go to school but the circumstances have forced him otherwise,' she said and assured the boy that things will fall in place soon.
This is a live example of the failure of State Government in disbursing Old age pension and its negligence of medicare with Aarogyasri being a far cry to these people.
The negligence has resulted in another social disorder with young children keeping away from school for a livelihood.
After assuring the boy, Sharmila said that things will change and will change for good, once YS Jagan Mohan Reddy comes to power.
All the welfare schemes of YSR will be implemented in addition to Amma Vadi scheme, where money would directly deposited into mother's bank account for the children's education.
