Sharmila draws huge response from people
Anantpur: The padayatra of Y S Sharmila was attracting large number of people from all sections of the society in the Anantapur district in the last five days. Old people, women, differently abled persons and even Non-Resident Indians were joining her yatra voluntarily.
Even some Ayyappa devotees followed her yatra. Several people from other districts were also joining her yatra. Venkatappa, former Sarpanch of a village near Wanaparthy in Mahboobnagar district told that he is a admirer of YSR and participated in his padayatra in 2003. He says he is now participating in the padayatra of his daughter and follows her until the end of her yatra.
Even though he is differently-abled person, he ventured on the arduous yatra because of his love for the great leader YSR, he says.
