T-decision: Parties busy honing skills Hyderabad, January 13 (INN): With the deadline on Telangana issue drawing to a close, leaders from both sides are sharpening their arsenals.
With Telangana leaders are very vociferous that they will not settle for any thing short of Telangana with Hyderabad, coastal Andhra leaders are having confabulations as to drive home their point.
Gade Venkat Reddy, who voted for a united state at the All Party Meeting, along with ministers Sailjanath and Vatti Vasantha Kumar held discussions at the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) office here today to chalk out the future course of action.
They wanted to reiterate the demand for a unite state to the Centre and the strategy would be chalked out in the coming couple of days which will be attended by majority of the Seemandhra leaders.
There were proposals of going to Delhi or to keep away from Jaipur meeting of Congress party.
Meanwhile, TJAC leaders will keep the pot boiling by holding dharnas and demonstrations demanding Telangana with ten districts.
The post festival scenario will heat up with leaders of both the regions trying to influence the high command.
While TRS and CPI were categorical about Telangana only CPM negated the separate state while there was ambiguity in all the parties.
The Centre is playing cards close to its chest and the core committee has met but no signal was given though leaders were speaking in their own language about the meeting.
Congress is in a catch 22 situation as the State has 17 parliament seats in Telangana and 25 in Seemandhara and there seems to be no middle path as it has to antagonize one side or the other as there could be no consensus.
Congress is also capable of some middle path which is acceptable to both sides for which each side should sacrifice a bit.
