Why terrorists choose Dilsukhnagar as target?
Hyderabad: Why is Dilsukhnagar is becoming a target for terrorist attacks? One of the reasons could be because of various reasons including its location and being a centre to the educational hub and computer software training centres it can become easy to create terror and panic say some of the old timers staying in the area.
Roughly over a lakh of students come to these institutions from all over the state capital. It is a junction from where all transport vehicles including buses towards Vijayawada, Howrah and also Chennai travel.
It has also houses several huge shopping malls including RS Brothers and J C Brothers and cinema theatres as well as a bus stop.
Saibaba temple is two furlongs near to the blast site and hundreds of devotees thronged the temple because of Thursday, which is auspicious to the Sai devotees. Hundreds of people who were at various shops and malls started fleeing after heard the blasts sound.
There is huge minority population adjacent to the Dilsukhnagar and the terrorists may choose the place for the reason keeping community clash between the two sections.
P Srinivas, a conductor who did overtime and sustained injuries in the blast said that he heard huge sound and he was unconscious after it and he was undergoing treatment in Osmania hospital.
