When Pawar praises about Jagan's guts!
Hyderabad: A few Congress leaders who met Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar during his recent visit to Hyderabad faced embarrassment when the latter made some comments against Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The leaders, who made a courtesy call, referred to the State and national politics and Congress party's position in the State.
Pawar showed interest in local politics and enquired the strength and weakness of the ruling party. The Union Minister heard the analysis of the Congress leaders patiently. Finally, he made some positive comments on YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been languishing in jail for the past 11 months.
According to Congress leaders, he said that Jagan's name has become a point of discussion at the national level and praised his guts to dare the high command. 'Indeed, it is unpalatable for us and hence we made a silent retreat from the place to avoid further embarrassment,' they said.
