Why Pawan made a political speech?

Power star Pawan Kalyan is not just an actor, but a phenomenon of sorts. With every movie, the actor creates history. The latest rumour doing the rounds may take Pawan to another level. Wondering what it is?

Well, mega fans are still coming to terms with the news that Chiranjeevi will no longer hold the union minister's post, there's another big news doing the rounds.

Speculation is rife that Chiru's brother and actor, power star Pawan Kalyan has decided to take the plunge into politics. If reports are anything to go by then the actor is planning to launch a new political party.

Although there's no official word from Pawan's side, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma created buzz with his tweet to Pawan Kalyan, asking him to join politics.

Pawan did not reply in the affirmative. However, if one were to analyse Pawan's speech in the recently held Attarintiki Daredi success function, it seemed more like a political speech. Although he directly lashed out at the piracy makers, he made a subtle reference to politics.

He also spoke of the recently emerged term that took the Tollywood by storm. Pawanism! He also talked about Pawanism becoming a rage on social networking sites. The often silent Pawan was seen opening up about how his life was progressing and how he lived his rules.

Addressing his fans, the actor gave credit to them saying: 'Pawanism is nothing but you. Pawanism is about living for the good of the society. If living for society is Pawanism, I'll be happy for that. Fans are my strength. Mee Kosam nenu pranaalu ivvalena? Meere naa power!'

At least three to four times during his speech, he made a reference to the society and values. At one point of time, when his fans asked him about the culprits behind pirated verssion of his film Atharintiki Daaredhi, he said: "Will say.. Will say. Not here. We endure. endure.. And one day will tear the skin."

Pawan also unveiled his spiritual side when he spoke on Tilak's poems and on how to move ahead with courage. He made a lot of emphasis on the importance of values in people's lives.

Pawan requested his fans for a loud 'jaihind'. It was then people watching the scene wondered if the event was a success meet or a political show of strength for Pawan. Pawan entering politics may be music to the ears of his fans.

However, political observers feel it would be a wrong move especially at this point in time. Given the political turmoil in state over the division issue, this would be a wrong time for Pawan to enter politics as he will not enjoy favourable response, feel many.

Many believe that Pawan will definitely join politics, but will not contest the 2014 elections. However, there's a likelihood of him trying his luck in 2019.
