AP Formation Day at Kondapalli Fort?
Vijayawada: Andhra State Formation or Resurrection Day must be celebrated at Kondapalli Fort, demanded Harish Chandra Prasad, Chief Coordinator at Coasta Rayala Development Forum.
'Friends from Vijayawada, I have a request. Can tomorrow some of you go to Kondapalli Khila and hoist our National flag to commemorate our AP formation/ resurrection Day', he requested everyone on social media on Tuesday.
He said AP Government has lost an opportunity to celebrate October 1st as a major event.
'Friends AP government has lost an excellent opportunity to bring back our pride. We were for the first time formed as a linguistic state called Andhra on 1st October 1953. In between we got into some mess due to some 'gentlemen'. But today after more than 60 years we got back an opportunity to prove ourselves. So we could have showcased 1st October as our resurrection day. This could have sent positive signals to our youth and the world', he said on social media platforms.
