AP CM welcomes German auto companies Hyderabad, March 12 (INN): Dr. Gujjula Ravindra Reddy, former mayor of Altlandsberg (Germany), met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday and discussed about the investment opportunities for German companies in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister briefed Reddy about the potential for German automobile companies to set up shop in Andhra Pradesh.
'In Sri City, we have automobile companies like iSuzu. We also have Hero MotoCorp that will be setting up a facility in the state,' the Chief Minister said.
The Chief Minister told Reddy that he is interested to see German automobile firms setting up shop in the state. 'We're also interested in Germany's technology expertise,' he said.
Reddy enquired about the opportunities new capital city. The Chief Minister welcomed German companies to set up shop in the new capital and shared his plans on making Nellore and Chittoor automobile hubs in the state.
The Chief Minister also explained about how AP could become the Logistics Hubs for South East Asia and serve neighbouring markets.
Meanwhile, Reddy invited the Chief Minister to visit Germany and interact with investors there.
