Good days ahead for industry in Telangana: FTAPCCI Hyderabad, April 22 (INN): The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) has expressed confidence that the industries in Telangana would register a positive growth in the coming few months due to improvement in power supply position.
FTAPCCI Senior Vice-President V Anil Reddy told INN that the Telangana industry was having the best time now in the last six years. He said the industrial sector was badly hit due to the Telangana agitation and the power crisis. However, with the formation of Telangana and improvement in energy situation, the industries are projecting a positive outlook in the current financial year. He said there have been no power cuts in the recent past. Even the power holidays on Thursdays have been withdrawn. This led to an increase in productivity. Therefore, he said that the industrial sector is all set to register high growth numbers in the future.
Anil Reddy hoped that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would implement the promise of supplying uninterrupted power supply to the industrial sector soon. He said that ongoing power projects, including the thermal power project in Nalgonda, have raised the expectations of industries in Telangana State.
