MBT blames KCR for Alair encounter

The Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) has held Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directly responsible for the killing of five under trials in a fake encounter near Alair on April 7.

Addressing a public meeting at Dabeerpura fly over Bridge on Friday night to mark the 73rd death anniversary of MIM founder Qayed-E-Millat Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung, MBT spokesperson Md Majeed Ullah Khan @ Farhat Khan said that the killing of five Muslim youth was nothing but a cold-blood murder conducted at the instance of the Chief Minister. "The local police personnel never take major decisions like encounter. They only act on the directions of the Chief Minister and senior officials sitting in Hyderabad. Therefore, it is ridiculous to say that the Chief Minister was not aware or not involved in the fake encounter," he said.

Farhat Khan strongly condemned the MIM leadership for shielding the TRS Government despite the brutal murder of five Muslim youth in broad day light. He said those continuing support to the TRS Government were also responsible for the fake encounter. He questioned as to why the MIM did not hold protest against the fake encounter. "The MIM has sold the Muslim community's right to protest to the TRS Government in order to make some personal gains," he said adding that people would teach MIM a fitting lesson in next GHMC elections.

The MBT leader said that his party would not remain silent and would continue its protest till the State Government orders a probe through a sitting judge of the High Court.

Recalling the services of Qayed-E-Millat Nawab Bahadur Yaar Jung, he advised the Muslim youth to follow his ideals to resolve the problems being faced by the Muslim community in the country. He said Qayed-E-Millat united the entire community and never compromised on his principles. He expressed concern over the rise of Hindu fundamentalism through strengthening of right-wing extremist organisations associated with the Sangha Parivar. He said that the RSS and BJP leaders have been trying to portray in wrong manner while ignoring the fact that Muslims have sacrificed their lives for India and would continue to do so. He said that the patriotism of Muslims and their love for India does not need any certification.

Farhat Khan said Muslims were being targeted across the country in various means and it has become easier for the communal forces to kill the Indian Muslims either through riots or fake encounters. He said that the MBT would launch a massive movement to stop exploitation of Muslim community by political parties and leaders.

The public meeting was also addressed by Moulana Hamed Hussain Shattari,Hamed Mohammed Khan (President MPJ), Abdul Khader Sajid Nizamabadi, Naseeb Khan and young speaker Syed Mujtaba Hussain.
