Healthier Hearts Foundation donates life saving machine Hyderabad, April 30 (INN): The Healthier Hearts Foundation has donated a life saving machine to a poor woman who is suffering from a chronic disorder.
Foundation chairman Dr Mohammed Fareed, social activist Syed Nizamuddin, Foundation Secretary Mohammed Salman Hassan, Organising Secretary Muneer Quadri and other team members on Wednesday handed over the Oxygen Concentrator worth over Rs 50,000 to Wajeeda Begum, a resident of Mohammed Nagar in Errakunta of Barkas. The 42-year-woman is suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD) for the last three years. Her husband, Mohd Anwar, works as a salesman in a footwear shop and is the lone bread earner for the family. However, he was forced to take the Oxygen Concentrator on rent and was spending around Rs 8,000 per month. Therefore, the treatment cost was proving to be a huge burden on this poor family.
On information, the Foundation approached the family and offered to donate the Oxygen Concentrator machine. After handing over the machine, the Foundation members hoped and prayed for speedy recovery of Wajeeda Begum.
The family members have thanked the Foundation for the kind gesture.
