TS Govt signs MoU to train talent Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao and IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan have exchanged an MoU with Viv Penninti, Chairman of Inrythm Inc, Pittsburg to create more jobs in the State in data analytics sector.
'Hyderabad has already established itself as a destination of choice for IT and we want to take the sector to the next level by targeting hi-growth segments. We want to support hubs of excellence in sunrise sectors that could utilize talent in the region and foster jobs,' KTR, who is on the US tour, said. Speaking on the occasion, Jayesh Ranjan said, 'We are working to bring leading academia and firms in data analytics to the city'.
Viv Penninti, a thirty year industry thought leader in Data analytics said, 'For most of us, industry leaders like Google, Facebook or Amazon are about search, social media or ecommerce - what we miss is that these digital businesses are leaders because of effective use of data analytics. With increased mobile usage, presence of new devices like smart watches and internet of things big data will grow in an exponential manner. We are excited to bring leading global institutions and firms in this space.'
KTR visited Alpha labs Gear, an incubator in Pittsburgh which is a member based chain shops and the path breaking Tech Shop. 'The experience and the great ideas of the incubator can be emulated back home for our ambitious T-hub project,' the minister said.
On his third day tour of two week tour in USA, the IT Minister participated in a meet and greet programme by the Pittsburgh NRIs later in the evening and asked each NRI to be an good will ambassador for Telangana state as they contributed for the achievement of separate state. He asked each NRI to come forward for the development of their own village and work with government in this regard.
