TS Govt to take up online transfers of teachers Hyderabad, June 16 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Tuesday released the schedule for transfer of teachers across the State till July 26.
Addressing a press conference at the State Secretariat here, Kadiyam, who also hold the Education Portfolio, said that the transfers would be done online and all teachers who have been serving at a single place for the last eight years and Head Masters with five years of service at any given place would get compulsory choice of transfer. However, he said that the teachers and Head Masters would not be transferred or deputed in Ranga Reddy from other districts.
Kadiyam informed that he State Government would receive online applications from 22nd to 25th June. The section-wise final list will be released on June 26. He said that teachers with two years of service would also get an opportunity for transfer. He said that the rationalisation would also be done based on the vacancies and the regularisation of contract teachers would be done as per the norms. He assured that complete transparency would be maintained in the online transfer and also sought the cooperation of teachers' unions in the smooth completion of the process.
The Deputy CM said that the DSC exams would be held after the completion of transfers and deputations.
He also informed that all schools would be provided with basic amenities and furniture as part of 'Swachh Schools' programme. He warned the private schools of stern action if they does not follow the changed syllabus. He also directed the managements to display their fee structure on notice boards. He said schools might be de-recognised if they collect more money from parents other than the prescribed fee. (INN)
