Raj Bhavan hires Yoga teacher Hyderabad, June 19 (INN): Probably in a first of kind appointment, the Raj Bhavan has hired a Yoga Instructor. The appointment gains significance in view celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21 and the controversies it surrounds.
The Special Chief Secretary to Governor, Raj Bhavan, has informed that Governor ESL Narasimhan has been utilising the services of P. Ravi Kishore, Yoga Teacher w.e.f. April 8 this year and found his services are essential and decided to continue his services. "He (Governor) has therefore requested to accord necessary permission to engage the services of above said individual as Yoga Teacher on payment of monthly remuneration of Rs. 15,000/-," he said.
Based on this recommendation, the State Government accorded permission to engage the services of Ravi Kishore as Yoga Instructor in Raj Bhavan with effect from April 8 on monthly remuneration of Rs.15,000/- for one year or till the need ceases, whichever is earlier.
