AP Govt to allocate Rs. 25 Crore for Yoga promotion Hyderabad, June 21 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced a special budget of Rs. 25 crore to promote Yoga in the State.
Speaking at a programme organised to mark International Yoga Day at N-Convention Centre in Vijayawada here on Sunday, Naidu described Yoga as an asset which turn all human being healthy. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decision to promote Yoga at the national level at a grand scale. He recalled that Swamy Vivekananda too has given a message to the entire world that they could remain healthy by practicing Yoga.
Naidu said Yoga instills confidence and discipline among its practitioners. He said it was wrong to link Yoga to any religion. He said Yoga was health science. He appealed to the people belonging to all religions, caste and regions to practice Yoga to stay healthy and live a stress-free life.
