KCR to handover permits to 17 investors Hyderabad, June 22 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will be formally handing over package of permit papers on Tuesday at 2 PM in the State Secretariat to the investors of 17 companies whose applications for setting up industries have been processed, cleared and finalized by the Telangana State Government. These 17 companies together account for an investment of Rs. 1500 Crores and likely to provide employment to 4000 persons.
In accordance with the announcement made by the Chief Minister on 12th June while launching the State Industrial Policy, that the permits to the applicants would be given within two weeks, the officers concerned in the industries department and chasing cell have processed and finalized these applications of 17 companies in record speed and time. The officers have scrutinized and cleared the applications of these 17 investors who have come forward to establish industries so far.
It may be recalled that the state government has launched the new industrial policy on 12th June. Now as announced then, the Government has officially invited these 17 companies to whom permissions would be given on Tuesday. These 17 companies include the ITC Group.
