Heli-tourism to add zest to Maha Pushkaram
Hyderabad, July 12 (INN): In order to make Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015 a grand celebration, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is organizing a series of events like Sky Lantern festival, Sand art festival on the banks of River Godavari, etc.
One of the most striking aspects is Heli-tourism. The government is offering a chopper ride, covering all the Pushkaram Ghats in Rajahmundry between July 14 and July 25.
The state government is also organizing a mega food festival throughout Pushkaralu to highlight the local food of Andhra Pradesh. That apart, a Flower and Horticulture show will be held in Rajahmundry and a laser show will be organized on Havelock Bridge at Rajahmundry. The laser show is organized such that pilgrims can enjoy the show in the evenings from both sides of the river.
