 News: Entertainment | Srimanthudu Creates Sensation On Zee Superstar Mahesh Babu's "Srimanthudu" continuing its records even on small screen. The film has registered superb TRP ratings on its world TV premiere on Zee Telugu. Srimanthudu had its first world TV premiere on Zee Telugu on 8 November on the eve of Diwali and as expected the film received great response from audiences.
Srimanthudu which' has become the all-time second biggest earner in tollywood has created similar sensation. 'Srimanthudu" has reportedly fetched 21.34 TRP ratings . Srimanthudu TRP's are very close to Baahubali's according to TAM.Srimanthudu got 21.34 TRP's whereas Baahubali's was at 21.84.
However Rajamouli's Magadheera is up there with 22 television rating points. "Magadheera" and "Baahubali: The Beginning" have fetched 22 and 21.84 TRP points respectively and are in the first and second spots in the list of the top 10 Telugu movies. Srimanthudu' has beaten the records of Mahesh Babu's previous movie "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", which was in the third spot with its TRP ratings. Zee Telugu has reportedly acquired Srimanthudu television rights for Rs 12 crore.
The big surprise came in the form of Raj Tharun & Avika Gor starrer 'Cinema Chopista Mava'. This small budget film managed a highly impressive 15-plus TRP Rating for it first TV Premiere.
