Official: Akshay Kumar Vs Super Star In 'Robot 2'
Robo movie showcased the stamina and standards of Indian cinema. The film was a remarkable success in Tamil, Telugu and to some extent in Hindi as well. Now the film director is bringing sequel for the film Robot 2.0 and the film starts its shooting today.
As per latest reports, sensational director Shankar has roped in Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in his high budget graphic extravaganza.The makers had initially planned to rope in Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it was not amterialized. Later news had that maker's approached Bollywood star Hritik Roshan. Finally makers zeroed out Akshay Kumar for the role.The movie went on floors today with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar present at the Mahurat Shot.
Robot 2 is said to be the costliest film to be made in History of Indian Cinema and Akshay Kumar's presence has just made it bigger and better. Budget of this extravaganza is estimated to be over Rs 250 Crore. The movie will be shot completely in 3D and will release in 2017.
