Muslim Community Complaint On Nannaku Prematho
Young Tiger's Nannaku Prematho is coming with huge expectations. Young Tiger NTR too has taken the film as a vehicle to regain lost his glory. The film which will about to go for censor screening suddenly hits a road block.A complaint was filed stating that the poster of the Telugu film 'Nannaku Prematho' starring Junior NTR and Rakul Preet Singh shows the heroine in an obscene posture against the backdrop of religious verses.
A person named Khaja Tanveer Ahmed, a resident of Asif Nagar, Hyderabad filed a complaint in the State Minorities Commission office accusing the misuse of Prophet Mohammed and Quran in the posters of Nannaku Prematho.
The commission issued show-cause notices to the Hyderabad Police Commissioner and regional office of Central Board of Film Certification, seeking replies within seven days. It has also asked why a criminal case should not be filed against the concerned producer, director and the actors.
It also directed NP team to come up with a convincing response in seven working days.Commission also recommended withdrawal of posters immediately. The film will hit the screens on January 13.Some of Muslim community members staged protest and warned that if the makers didn't pay heed to their requests, they said makers have to face severe consequences.The film is gearing up for Censor on Jan 11 and release on Jan 13 now re-editing the film now seems to be a new head ache for the makers.
