Mahesh Is No1; NTR No 2
'Naannaku Prematho' has to score steady collections in its long run to reach break even in Telugu states. But the film managed collect superb shares in Overseas. Despite the fact that NTR's latest 'Naannaku Prematho' got mixed reviews, it is doing good business in US.
Naannaku Prematho is topping the charts with more than 1 million collections and still there was a high demand for the film among overseas audiences. Interestingly, this is NTR's third film that hit the million dollar mark! This makes NTR to stand in second place with three movies on the top in overseas. Reports have confirmed that Nannaku Prematho collected nearly 1.3 MIllion Dollars gross with today's collection. Earlier NTR has two Million dollar movies in USA - Baadshah ($1,232,757) and Temper ($1,005,353).
Tollywood prince Mahesh has five movies in the top position in overseas market. Trade estimated that Nannaku Prematho will go close to 2 million in its full run.On day 1 there was a large delay of prints at overseas centres. This prompted the theater/screen owners to opt for a change in the movie and according to trade analysts it costed dearly for the NTR's movie.
