First Look: Sonam at Gunpoint As Neerja
The first look poster of Sonam Kapoor's upcoming film Neerja was released today. Neerja is an upcoming biopic on valiant flight attendant Neerja Bhanot and Sonam is palying role of the airhostess. Sonam shared the poster on Twitter, and wrote: "And here it is: The first poster of #Neerja. So proud! Film out on 19 February."
The First look poster, which reads 'Fear gave her courage', also features an airplane cabin full of people and an armed hijacker.
Sonam's character is seen being held at gunpoint. She is seen standing with an undaunted streak, staring at the attacker whose face is yet to be revealed.The film is based on the life of Neerja Bhanot who was shot dead by terrorists who hijacked the Mumbai-New York flight at Karachi on 5 September 1986.
Neerja is directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor in titular role and Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani in supporting roles. This film shows how the young flight attendant fought for the lives of her passengers.
