Comedian & MLA gets Doctorate
Film comedian and Andhole MLA Babu Mohan has been given honorary doctorate by Harvest Bible International University. The doctorate was presented by Major Irrigation Minister Harish Rao at a ceremony held in Ravindra Bharati.Others present on the occasion included government advisor KV Ramanachari, Medak district MP K Prabhakar Reddy and former DGP Swaranjit Sen.
Babu Mohan debuted in the film Ee Prasnaku Baduledi, followed by Ahuthi, Ankusham and then a comedy character in Mamagaru. Babu Mohan has been a staunch supporter of N. T. Rama Rao and this led him to join the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He became an MLA from Medak district Andole Constituency
He also served as Social Welfare Minister in the TDP government. He joined Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) and in 2014 General Elections he won the election on Damodar Raja Narasimha. Its indeed a pleasure to learn someone recognized Babu Mohan's services to Film Industry at least now.
