Krishna Vamsi Directing Wife after 17 years
After taking a long gap creative Director Krishna Vamshi is planning for a new movie titled Rudraksha, in which his real life partner Ramya Krishna is going to play a typical role. Ramya has teamed up with her filmmaker husband after a long gap of 17 years and the film features Samantha in the leading role.
''Ramya and her husband have joined hands after 15 years. She plays one of the leads in the film,' a source from the film's unit told.The film was originally planned with Anushka Shetty in the lead. The makers did approach Anushka for one of the main leads; however things didn't fall in place.
It's going to be made on a lavish budget under Dil Raju banner. The film features nearly an hour of visual effects (VFX) and the makers are currently in talks with several VFX studios.
Ramya Krishna and Krishna Vamsi had previously worked together in the 'Chandralekha', starring Akkineni Nagarjuna. The film was released in 1998 and the duo didn't worked from then. Ramya Krishna is basking in the glory of two back to back successes Baahubali and Soggade Chinni Nayana.
