Balayya Tenders Apology
Nandamuri Balayya's comments on the women during audio launch of 'Savitri' created flutter and the star actor has received brickbats from all corners. Telangana advocate JAC filed a complaint at Saroor Nagar Police Station.
Now the actor has issued a press statement and tenders apology for his comments. In his statement Balayya said that he considers all women to be like own relatives and that he has inherited this culture from his late father.
'I have enormous respect for women and it is our family tradition to regard any woman as a member of our family. It is a trait we inherited from our father to treat women like our sisters. I only made a funny comment at the audio function that day. It is not intended on any one. I tender my apology if my remarks hurt any one' Balayya said.
Balayya may have learnt how careful he has to be when in politics with this incident. It is known that Balakrishna has gone overboard saying that, his fans wouldn't enjoy him going behind a girl in his movies. "I must either kiss or make them pregnant'' He said
