Popular Telugu TV Anchor Commits Suicide
Popular Telugu TV anchor Nirosha allegedly committed suicide in Hyderabad.According to police sources, the 23 year old committed suicide by hanging herself on Wednesday in Hyderabad. She hanged herself from the ceiling at a paying guest hostel in the city. Nirosha had earlier hosted shows on ABN and TV6 Channels and currnelty was anchoring movie shows on Gemini Music channel.
According to police, Nirosha was on a video call in Skye with her boyfriend Ritwik when she committed suicide. Some unconfirmed reports stating that the anchor allegedly had a fight with her boyfriend and threatened to kill herself and then went on to hang herself with her dupatta, while the call was still ongoing. Police officials say they received a call around midnight from a relative asking them to save her and when reached the spot the anchor was found dead.
Nirosha's boyfriend Ritwik is based out of Canada, while her parents stay in Chittoor. Police are checking the call log data of her cellphone to ascertain the last few moments before Nirosha ended her life. Police have registered case under section 174 of CRPC and investigations are on. Nirosha's father K Radhakrishna has however said that his daughter might have killed herself because of severe stomach ache that she often suffered.
