Ghazals Caused My Divorce: RGV
Now and then, Ram Gopal Varma gives us insights into his personal life .Its known that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma married to Ratna Varma but divorced her after some years. The Varma couple had been apart for many years. Now RGV reveals some facts about his married life.
Speaking at audio event of his upcoming film Attack RGV made some interesting remarks on his failed mariage. Referring to singer 'Ghazal' Srinivas, who has sung a song in the film, RGV said, 'Actually, ghazals are one of the reasons for my divorce as I don't like them at all. I like to hear songs of Ilayaraja always. My wife likes ghazals a lot..She would play ghazals at night, which I didn't like. I wanted to listen to my favourite songs.'
The director added that he changed his opinion after he met Ghazal Srinivas.
