Shocking: 'Chinnari Pellikuturu' Commits Suicide
TV Actress Pratyusha Banerjee who rose to fame with television show Balika Vadhu committed suicide today. According to Mumbai police she hung herself from the ceiling fan of her suburban residence. She was then shifted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri where she was declared dead.
It is unclear as to what led the actress to take such a drastic step, but it seems her relationship with her boy friend had run into some trouble. She was in an unhappy relationship, and depressed about how things were shaping up with her boyfriend.
Pratyusha was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7 on Colors. She was last seen in Hum Hain Na as the main female lead. In January 2016, the actor had approached Mumbai Police alleging molestation by four men who entered her home posing as policemen.
Her last status message on Whatsapp read, 'Marke bhi muh na tuzse modana' (even after death won't be turning my face away from you) with a smiley.
