Star Heroine Finds Pratyusha's Suicide 'Senseless' Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini is not pleased with the suicide of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee. The actress took to her Twitter handle to slam the attitude of taking lives and chose some harsh words to express her feelings.Hema Malini has termed Banerjee's alleged suicide 'senseless', saying the world admires a fighter not a 'loser.'
Hema Malini tweeted: "All these senseless suicides achieve nothing! Life is god's gift for us to live, not for us to take at will. We have no right to do that.''
The 'Dreamgirl' of Bollywood, in another tweet spoke about fighting such a situation with strength and bravery. "One must learn to overcome all odds and emerge successful, not succumb under pressure and give up easily. The world admires a fighter not a loser."She added
Slamming the media over its investigation and coverage of the TV star's demise, the actor added, 'Just becomes food for the hungry media who chew on news like celebrity suicides until the next sensational news happens. Then it is forgotten.'
Pratyusha, who found fame through her portrayal of the grown-up Anandi in popular TV show "Balika Vadhu", was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her home on Friday evening. The police is yet to ascertain the reason behind her death.
