Stay On Producer Suresh Babu's Suspension
Few months before civil court suspended D Suresh Babu from being the President of Telugu Film chamber of commerce. Suresh was elected as President of the body belonging to Telugu Film industry Under the quote of 'exhibitors'.
But, his election was challenged in city civil court by his rival distributor Muralimohan who say he doesn't have the required qualifications to contest the elections as he has not paid any money to the government as exhibitor. Acting upon the petition City Civil Court then declared Suresh Babu ineligible to contest for any elections in Film Chamber.
Now in a major relief to top producer, the High Court stayed the city civil court order suspending him from serving as the president of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce. Orders to this effect were issued on Monday by Justice G Chandraiah.
From 2011, Suresh Babu is serving the duties as Film Chamber president and was unanimously re-elected in July last year.
