Padma Awards: Rajamouli Beats Rajini In Simplicity
Rajamouli made the entire Tollywood proud when he received the Padmashri Award . Today the ace have received the prestigious award from Indian President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
What caught everyone's attention was the ace director's simplicity. While all other celebs dressed in big way Rajamouli chose a simple avatar. He has appeared wearing simple cotton shirt and amidst huge cheers, Rajamouli received his award.
Even star like Rajinikanth also opted for wearing a grand attire but Rajamouli chose to appear simple. Looking dapper in a beige churidar kurta teamed with a grey Nehru jacket, Rajinikanth was accompanied by his wife Latha Rajinikanth.
Actress Priyanka Chopra looked no less than a "Desi" girl, dressed in a lime green sari while receiving the honour. Rajamouli is currently busy shooting for his sequel of Baahubali. The film is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2016. After the announcement of the winners' list Rajamouli had stated that he does not deserve the prestigious award.
