Dil Raju changed 'Policeodu' Title
Star Producer Raju's next film Policeodu Telugu dubbed version of Tamil Film (Theri) is slated for release tomorrow. A day before the release of his upcoming movie Dil Raju received a setback. Cops served notices to the Producer asking him to change the title of 'Policeodu' as they feel it hurts their sentiments.Police Welfare Association raised objections against the film's title as the film title sounding awkward and disrespecting the police department.
In a quick response, Dil Raju immediately rechristened the film's title as Police. Raju's production house have offered clarification and stated that it was Tamil producer Kalaipuli S Thanu who titled the Telugu version as Policeodu. Meanwhile "Theri" has opened to fairly positive reviews. It is an emotional film, which has all the commercial elements that audience love to see in Vijay's movies.
