Kareena's 'doctor' look Unveiled
After Ki and Ka actress Kareena Kapoor is going to appear in another challenging role. Kareena's look from the upcoming film "Udta Punjab" directed by Abhishek Chaubey has been unveiled. The 'Ki and Ka' star portrays the character of a doctor in the flick.
Kareena will be seen essaying the character of Doctor Preet Sahani, who leaves her cushioned life to move to the heartland of Punjab to tackle the drug menace in the state. The actress looks completely different from her past characters. 'Udta Punjab' portrays the real issue of drug abuse the state of Punjab is reeling under since last few years.
After a gap of nine years, Shahid and Kareena will be seen together on the silver screen. Shahid plays the role of a rockstar, who finds himself in a controversy related to drugs. The film was produced by Phantom Films and Balaji Motion Pictures. It also features actress Alia Bhatt and is slated to release on June 17.
