Youth killed By TV Show's Temporary Pool In a tragic incident a 19-year-old youth drowned in the pool of a water park in hyderabad where he had gone on an outing with his friends.The deceased was identified as Abhilash and he was a construction worker.
The temporary water body created for shooting of a game show to be aired on a TV channel, at Shamshabad.
As per police a private TV channel, which exclusively broadcasts children's programmes, had created a 20-foot wide and 10-foot deep pit filled with water at a private property in Shamshabad . It was created by TV channel to shoot kids' game show.
The shooting concluded two days ago and the workers started removing the sets. They built a compound wall around the pit with a gate.
The victim Abhilash along with his two friends went to the shooting spot by jumping the compound wall and accidentally plunged into the water body. The boys knew how to swim, but Abhilash did not and he drowned by the time the workers reached the spot and pulled him out.
A case of causing death by negligence has been registered and the deceased's body has been handed over to his family after conducting a post-mortem.
