Veerappan Planned To Kidnap Rajinikanth: RGV
Ram Gopal Varma has come up another sensational revelation. RGV revealed that forest brigand Veerappan once tried to kidnap none other than superstar Rajinikanth. According to a report in Bollywood media house the director has reportedly said that Veerappan once wanted to kidnap Rajinikanth in the same way he had kidnapped Kannada superstar Rajkumar. The filmmaker said that he learnt about this plan through sources close to the bandit.
RGV even tweeted "Veerappan used to think he is more famous than Rajnikanth and at one point he demanded a film to be made on him as a part of his Ransom."
Veerappan is the Hindi remake of Ram Gopal Varma's Kannada directorial debut Killing Veerappan. The remake stars Sachiin J Joshi, Usha Jadhav and Lisa Ray, apart from Sandeep Bhardwaj in the titular role.In 'Veerappan' , the director showcases one of the biggest manhunts in history.
