Bad Experience For Ilayaraja At Airport Legendary music composer Ilayaraja got into a minor scuffle with a security officer at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport after he was allegedly denied entry over a 'prasad'. As per report in a national daily Illayaraja and his family members had gone to a temple and they were back on the way to Chennai when the airport officials denied his entry after checking his bag.
The security officer at the airport who was seemingly unaware of who Ilayaraja was have reportedly asked him to discard the coconuts and the temple prasadam. He was stopped by the security after the scanner found pieces of broken coconut in the bag. Things got ugly when the musician's son, Karthik Raj was hugely upset for his father being treated and not giving any importance. The incident took over an hour and slightly delayed the flight. After an extended arguments and some intervention from senior officers, a delayed flight left with the composer and his family on board.
