Script Writer Attack On Raghavendra Rao In a shocking incident a young script writer tried to attack veteran director K Raghavendra Rao.It was about copyrights issue on his Ramadasu movie which was released almost a decade ago.The man, named Ravindra from a village in Anantpur district Nallamada mandal said that Ramadasu movie story was belonged to him and that Raghavendra Rao cheated him. Ravindra entered into an argument with the director over plagiarising his story, based on which Sri Ramadasu was made in 2006.
It's learnt that Ravindra told Raghavendra Rao that Sri Ramadasu story was his own and he sent it to the director in 2003. However, Raghavendra Rao said that the story was penned by JJ Bharavi. Angered with this he stopped the car that the director was going in and created a big ruckus on the road.
As the director went into his house without caring his words, he took an iron rod and barged into the house trespassing the security and broke the wind shields of an Audi, a Benz and a Santro car. Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash Kovelamudi and watchman managed to get hold of Ravindra and handed him over to Banjara Hills Police. Ravindra was booked under IPC Section 452 and 427.
