Sarrainodu - Highest Grossing film of 2016
Allu Arjun's "Sarrainodu" surprised everyone by collecting 76 Crores Worldwide despite Mixed Talk for the film. It was Awarded as Highest Grossing film of 2016.
International Film Business Awards announced Allu Arjun's "Sarrainodu" as Highest Grossing Telugu film in the Year 2016. However, it was known news that "Janatha Garage" beats "Sarrainodu" by minting more than 80 Crores at Box Office. So this Award of "Sarrainodu" really Surprised many because when "Janatha Garage" is the Highest Grosser, how come they give it for Sarrainodu ? and also without completion of Year 2016, how come they announce the Awards for 2016 ?
Nonetheless, experts claim that the Award Committee might have taken into Consideration only the films released during certain Time period but not Whole 2016. So that is how "Sarrainodu" remained as Highest Grossing film in 2016 despite "Janatha Garage" claims as Third Biggest Hit in Telugu Film Industry.
