Currency Ban effect on SSS 1st day collections Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's "Saahasame Swasaga Sagipo" movie which released yesterday opened up with a mixed response from General Public and critics. The film registered moderate openings at the box office on its first day of its release.
It minted Nizam-59lakhs, Ceeded-28lakhs, Vizag-19lakhs, East-10lakhs, West-6lakhs, Krishna-9lakhs, Guntur-11lakhs, Nellore-4lakhs which makes it collect 1.46crores share at Ap/Tg box office on the first day of its release. It collected $38k from USA premiers and 16 lakhs share from Karnataka on the first day. Overall, it was an average opening for the film at the box office on the first day of its release.
We can clearly see currency Ban effect on the movie, as Rs.500 and Rs.1000 note Ban, there was insufficient money with public in order to watch a film. So it affected SSS first day collections heavily because as a solo release, the movie should collect easily 1 more crore at Ap/Tg if there is no demonetization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes.
