RP's Facebook turns into 'Friends Book'
Hyderabad: Musician-turned-actor- turned- director R P Patnaik who has received praise for his first directorial 'Broker' is back with his latest outing, 'Friends book'.
'Facebook' was the first preferred title, but the makers had to part with their preferred choice taking into account of the future problems that may arise from the social networking site.
'Taking into consideration that Facebook network may cause problems in near future with regards to the film's title, we went for a title change but the subject still remains the same.
It is the story of six friends. I have tried to showcase the benefits of Facebook if used properly. Nigerian scams that rocked the city are also interwoven to the story,' said RP Patnaik.
'Friends Book' made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil is in post-production phase.
Producer Vijay Prasad Malla is planning to release the film on April 30 in both Tollywood and Kollywood respectively. Nischal, Udhay, Gemini Suresh, Surya, Nisha, Archana, Rao Ramesh are portraying the lead roles.
