Ali as 'Cameraman Ganga'
Hyderabad: Ever since the title 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' was announced by maverick director Puri Jaggannadh, rumours were rife about who Ganga is.
Well, some had it that Ganga is a female cameraman who also happens to be the heroine of the film, others pointed out that Puri is playing his cards tightly.
But our filmi birdie has it that Ganga is none other comedian Ali. It is worth mentioning that Ali is a close confidante of both Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannandh as the actor is seen in most of the their films.
While Kalyan is known to ask director's of his films to give Ali a miniscule role if he is not in his film in the first place, Puri on the other hand is credited to give Ali comedy tracks in most of his films.
Adding more fuel that Ali is Ganga in the director's 25th venture is the presence of 'Yamaleela' star at the film's muhurat which took place last week.
Ali is not known to be a part of movie launches, but since it happens to be a Pawan Kalyan and Puri combo, both known to share a great proximity with him apart from giving him good roles, the actor made his presence felt at the event.
Although Puri is yet to confirm it, knowing his casting coup, this time he's going lock stock and barrel with Kalyan and Ali in the roles of media personnel on the political satire that happens to be, 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'.
