Nayantara - From Seeta to Draupadi?
Hyderabad: After portraying the role of Seeta in 'Sri Rama Rajyam', Nayantara might be seen playing Draupadi in Telugu actor Balakrishna's new film 'Narthanasala'.
Balakrishna who has taken to mythological fantasy movies now wants the actress to reprises a goddess' role in the movie.
The movie 'Narthanasala', which was initially slated almost a decade ago, had Balakrishna and Soundarya as the lead actors. But with Soundarya's accident and subsequent demise, the shooting of the movie was cancelled.
Balakrishna, who always thought only Soundarya could portray the role of Draupadi better, has now finally thought of re-shooting the whole movie along with Nayantara and believes that she can do justice to the role.
The actor was very impressed with Nayantara's performance in 'Sri Rama Rajyam' and requested her to also act as Draupadi.
At that point of time, the actress couldn't commit herself to the project as her marital plans with Prabhu Deva were in the way.
However, following her split from her beau, Nayantara has resumed shooting for multiple projects and it seems like she has given her nod to 'Narthanasala'.
