Shraddha dropped from Veeru film Hyderabad: Sultry siren Shraddha Das, who was considered for a lead role opposite Tarak Ratna's next film tentatively titled 'Mike testing 143', may claim that she walked out of the project for 'personal' and 'professional' reasons, but the real story is different.
Director Veeru K, who earlier directed films like 'Aaro Pranam' and 'Company', gives another version. 'Yes, we did a photo and video shoot as well. But I found Shraddha unfit for the role of 'Modern Sita,' he told.
That the 'Arya 2' actress was on cloud nine was obvious with her tweets. 'Signed yet another new telugu film, playin the main lead opposite Tarak Ratna, a comedy film. Hav 2 different looks in the film, indian n westrn,' she tweeted on Monday (April 9). 'Super-excited!! Just doing a photoshoot with Tarak for it right now..pressmeet tomorrow to launch the film,' shraddha added.
'So will be shootin for 3 telugu films back to back as the leading lady with 3 drastically different roles! #looking forward! Happy!' 'Well my role in the Tarak film is something like 'seeta aur geeta' and it is titled 'Mike testing 143'.. 'Doin pics in Sita get up right now..something new!' she tweeted at 9 pm on the same day. However, Shraddha took a u-turn the next day.
She tweeted on Tuesday April 10 at 10.30 AM, 'Due to some personal and professional reasons, I have decided to opt out of the Tarak ratna film..all the best to the team though. So I am just doing 'rey' with sai dharam tej and the other film with mahesh babu's bro',' she added. This raised the speculations that something went wrong somewhere.
'The movie is about a stage play of Ramayana involves series of nine episodes,' Veeru added. Said to be a parody, it is likely to see Tarak Ratna as Rama, Krishnudu as Ravana and Archana as traditional Sita. The first schedule will begin on April 16 or 19 and will move to Kodaikanal for an outdoor.
Shraddha has two projects in her kitty - YVS Chowdhary's Rey and another film with Shiva, Mahesh Babu's cousin.
